Sprout Social is a social media management platform for brands and agencies: publishing, a Smart Inbox, analytics, reviews and, as add-ons, listening and employee advocacy. Karobar covers posting, comments and messages too, but it is built for shops that sell in chat, with orders, cash on delivery, courier tracking, stock and ad results in the same place.
If you are looking for a Sprout Social alternative, this page compares the two feature by feature. Every statement about Sprout Social links to Sprout's own website or help center, numbered in the sources list, and was checked on 15 October 2026. Who each tool fits
Sprout Social fits marketing and customer care teams at brands and agencies that want polished reporting, listening, employee advocacy and integrations with helpdesks, and are comfortable paying per seat for them.
Karobar fits shops and small brands where social media is where the selling happens. The people who post are the people who answer DMs, take the order and send the tracking number. Karobar keeps posts, comments, WhatsApp and Instagram chats, orders, stock and ad results together, from $20 a month for one user or $39 for three.
Pricing explained
Sprout Social charges per seat. On its pricing page, Essentials is $79 per seat a month billed yearly or $99 billed monthly; Standard, Professional and Advanced are listed at $199, $299 and $399 per seat a month. A team of three on Standard would therefore be listed at about $597 a month before add-ons.
Karobar charges per plan, with users included: Individual at $20 for one user, Team at $39 for three, Brand at $59 for five and Enterprise at $199 for ten, with 12% off yearly.
From chat to delivered order
Karobar records the order from the chat, confirms cash on delivery, adds the courier and tracking number and updates the customer, while products and stock sit next to the inbox. Its reports follow ad spend through chats to delivered sales, which matters for sellers whose customers pay on delivery. See Sales Desk and Facebook ads reporting.
What Karobar does not do
So you can decide with the full picture, here is what Karobar does not offer today: posting to X, Pinterest or Threads, social listening, employee advocacy, or integrations with helpdesk tools. Karobar focuses on your own accounts and on turning conversations into orders. If listening to what people say about your brand across the web is central to your work, Sprout Social's add-ons cover that.

Posting, comments and the inbox
Both tools schedule posts and bring messages and comments together. Sprout's help center covers publishing to more networks, including YouTube video posts and Shorts. Karobar publishes to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube and Google Business Profile, with approvals per person, spreadsheet uploads, a media library and Enhance with AI for product photos, and does not cover X, Pinterest or Threads.
In the inbox, Karobar adds what a shop needs to sell: comment to DM on Facebook and Instagram, WhatsApp broadcasts and chatbot flows, and a reply drafted by Karobar AI from your own products, prices and policies. See Unified inbox and AI reply drafts.
