Buffer is a simple, affordable tool for scheduling posts, replying to comments and seeing what worked, priced per channel and loved by solo creators and small teams. Karobar schedules posts and handles comments too, but it is built for shops that sell in chat: WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger and TikTok DMs in one inbox, orders with cash on delivery, courier tracking, stock and ad results.
If you are looking for a Buffer alternative, this page compares the two feature by feature. Every statement about Buffer links to Buffer's own pricing page, numbered in the sources list, and was checked on 15 October 2026. Karobar's details come from our own product and our pricing page.

Who each tool fits
Buffer fits creators and small teams who mostly need to plan and publish posts on many networks, including X, Threads, Bluesky and Pinterest, and reply to comments, at a low price per channel.
Karobar fits shops that sell through social media and WhatsApp. Posting is one part of the day; the rest is answering DMs, taking orders, confirming cash on delivery and sending tracking numbers. Karobar keeps all of it in one place, with AI drafts from your own products and stock.
If you only post and reply to comments, Buffer is simpler and can cost less. If customers message you to buy, Karobar covers the part after the post.
Pricing explained
Buffer's pricing page charges per connected channel: Essentials at $5 per channel a month, and $10 per channel a month on the tier with unlimited users, with yearly billing cheaper. A shop with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube would connect four channels. Buffer also says that when you upgrade from the free plan, you pay for every channel you connected.
Karobar charges per plan, with users and AI credits included: Individual at $20 for one user, Team at $39 for three, Brand at $59 for five and Enterprise at $199 for ten, with 12% off yearly. The plans include the inbox, WhatsApp, orders and ad results, not only posting.
What happens after the post
A post that works brings comments and messages: "price?", "size M?", "delivery to Lahore?". In Karobar those comments land in the Comments inbox, a comment to DM automation can send the price by private message on Facebook and Instagram, and the DMs from WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger and TikTok sit in one inbox where the team turns them into orders. See Comment to DM and Sales Desk.
A worked example: a shop with four channels
Take a clothing shop with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube, run by two people. On Buffer, posting to four channels with more than one user means the per-channel tier with unlimited users: $10 a channel, so $40 a month, before yearly discounts, for posting, comments and analytics. On Karobar, two people fit in the Team plan at $39 a month, which also includes WhatsApp, DMs from all four apps, orders, stock and ad results.
If the shop only posts and never sells in messages, Buffer's Essentials tier for one user is cheaper. The difference shows when customers start writing to buy.
What Karobar does not do
So you can decide with the full picture, here is what Karobar does not offer today: posting to X, Threads, Pinterest, Bluesky, Mastodon or Substack, or a free plan. Karobar covers the six networks most shops sell on, and the inbox, WhatsApp and orders that come after the post.
