How to schedule TikTok posts, from videos to photo posts

TikTok's built-in scheduler, its limits, and the settings to check on every post.

TikTok rewards accounts that post often, and that is exactly what a busy shop struggles to do. If you schedule TikTok posts, a Sunday of filming becomes a week of videos that go out on their own. This guide covers TikTok's own scheduler and its limits, the settings worth checking on every post, and how to plan TikTok next to Instagram, YouTube and your other networks in Karobar Social Content.

TikTok's own scheduler

TikTok has a free scheduler on its web upload page. When TikTok introduced it, it set these rules:

  • You can schedule a video from 15 minutes to 10 days before it goes out.
  • Scheduling on a computer needs a Business Account. You can switch in the TikTok app's settings.
  • The time zone follows your computer.
  • Once scheduled, the time cannot be changed. To move it, you delete the post and upload it again.

TikTok updates its tools often, so check the upload page for the current window before you plan a month around it.

Where the built-in scheduler falls short

  • Ten days is short. You cannot plan an Eid or sale campaign a month ahead in one go.
  • No moving posts. If a delivery is late and the launch moves, you have to delete and upload again.
  • TikTok only. The same vertical video usually belongs on Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts too, and each needs its own upload.

In Karobar, the post waits in your calendar and goes to TikTok at its time. You can plan weeks ahead, drag a post to a new day, and send the same video to Reels and Shorts from one post.

How to schedule a TikTok post in Karobar, step by step

  1. Connect your TikTok business profile in Settings → Channels and allow posting. See Connect TikTok and TikTok Ads.
  2. Open Social Content, click New post and tick your TikTok account. Tick your Instagram and YouTube accounts too if the video belongs there.
  3. Add the video, or several photos for a photo post.
  4. Write the caption. Use TikTok hashtags to type a word and see the tags people use, with how many posts each has.
  5. Under Post as, choose Video or Photo post. A photo post also takes a short title shown above the photos.
  6. Check the TikTok settings (below), pick the time and press Schedule.

The full composer is described in Create and schedule a social media post.

Send to TikTok draftsSends it to your TikTok drafts instead of posting; you finish and post it in the TikTok app.

What to schedule on TikTok as a shop

  • Show it working. The fabric moving, the shoe on a foot, the gadget doing its job. Movement sells better than a still photo.
  • Packing orders. A packing video shows you are real and busy, which builds trust with first-time buyers.
  • Answer a comment with a video. Questions you get every day make good short videos.
  • Photo posts for collections. Swipeable photos suit "five ways to wear it" or a new range.
  • Keep the first second strong. People decide fast. Start with the product, not a logo.

Film several videos in one session, schedule them across the week, and keep one or two slots free for trends you want to join on the day.

After the video goes out

  • Comments in one inbox. TikTok comments arrive in the Karobar Comments inbox next to your other networks, so "how much?" does not wait.
  • Messages. TikTok DMs come into the Messages inbox. TikTok limits how long you can reply after a customer writes; see TikTok DMs for business.
  • Results. The Content tab shows every TikTok post, including ones posted from the app, with reach, views and engagements.

A week of TikToks from one filming session

Set aside one or two hours, film everything in the same light, and you have a week. A plan like this keeps the mix varied without much thought:

DayVideoWhy it works
MondayNew arrival, shown in useStarts the week with something fresh to buy.
TuesdayAnswer the most common questionSaves you typing the same reply all week.
ThursdayPacking today's ordersShows you are real, busy and trusted by others.
FridayPhoto post: five ways to wear or use itSwipeable, easy to save and share.
WeekendA slot kept free for a trendLets you join what people are watching right now.

Schedule the first four on Sunday evening. When a video takes off, note what it had in common with your other good ones, such as the first shot, the length or the sound, and film more like it next week.

Mistakes to avoid

  • Forgetting the promotional label. Product promotion should be marked. It is one switch in the post settings.
  • Horizontal video. TikTok is vertical. Film upright, or use the editor to fit it with blurred edges.
  • Only scheduled posts. Scheduling keeps you steady, but leave room for replies to comments and quick trend videos.
  • The AI label by accident. It cannot be removed, so only switch it on when the content really is AI-made.
