How to schedule LinkedIn posts for your profile and company page

LinkedIn's own scheduler for profiles and pages, and running both from one calendar.

On LinkedIn, the businesses that win are the ones that keep showing up: a steady stream of useful posts from the company page and from the founder's own profile. If you schedule LinkedIn posts, a busy week no longer means a silent week. This guide covers LinkedIn's own scheduler for profiles and pages, the post types it cannot schedule, and how to run both from one calendar in Karobar Social Content.

Scheduling on your own profile

LinkedIn lets you schedule posts from your profile on a computer or the app:

  • Write the post, select the clock icon, choose a date and time, then Next and Schedule.
  • The time can be between 10 minutes and 3 months from now.
  • Events and jobs cannot be scheduled.
  • From the list of scheduled posts you can change the time, edit the post, or delete it.

Scheduling on a company page

Page admins can schedule a LinkedIn Page post too, with tighter rules:

  • Only super admins and content admins of the page can schedule.
  • The time can be from one hour to three months ahead.
  • Events, multiple photos, reshares, polls, jobs and service posts cannot be scheduled.

So the built-in scheduler covers single posts well, but a carousel of photos on your page has to be posted by hand at the right moment.

Profile and pages in one calendar

Most small companies post the same news twice: once from the page, and again, in a more personal voice, from the founder. In Karobar one LinkedIn login connects your profile and every company page you manage, and they sit in the same calendar as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube and Google. See Connect LinkedIn.

Post asGood for
PostAn update, an opinion or a link to an article.
Photo postTeam photos, a product launch, an event you attended.
VideoA short walkthrough, a customer story, a behind-the-scenes clip.
Document (PDF)A guide or price list readers swipe through page by page, with a title shown in the feed.

For each post you also choose who sees it on your profile (Anyone or My connections) and whether others may reshare it.

How to schedule a LinkedIn post in Karobar, step by step

  1. Open Social Content and click New post.
  2. Tick your company page, your profile, or both.
  3. Write the caption. Switch LinkedIn to Own version if the founder's post should sound different from the page's.
  4. Add photos, a video or a PDF, and choose the format under Post as.
  5. Add a first comment if you want a link or a question right under the post.
  6. Pick the date and time and press Schedule. Use Space out accounts so the page and the profile do not post in the same minute.

If LinkedIn's sign-in is about to run out, Karobar says so in the composer; reconnect LinkedIn in Settings → Channels to keep posting.

What to schedule on LinkedIn

  • Teach something. A short PDF guide to choosing the right product in your field earns saves and shares.
  • Show the work. A new client, a delivery milestone, the team at a trade fair.
  • Hiring and growth. Readers on LinkedIn follow companies that are going somewhere.
  • One opinion a week from the founder. A founder's post often reaches people the page does not, and the page can reshare it by hand.

A steady two or three posts a week is easier to keep than a burst and a long silence. Plan them a month ahead with a content calendar.

After the post goes out

  • Page comments in the inbox. Comments on your company page posts arrive in the Comments inbox. LinkedIn does not let apps read comments on personal posts, so answer those on LinkedIn.
  • Write the replies yourself. Karobar AI does not draft replies to LinkedIn comments, and LinkedIn messages stay on LinkedIn.
  • Page analytics. Business Insights shows page followers, who they are, page views and post results. LinkedIn reports new followers two days late, so the latest days can look low.

Write LinkedIn posts people finish reading

  • Lead with the point. The first two lines show before "see more". Put the news or the lesson there, not a greeting.
  • Short paragraphs. One idea per line or two reads well on a phone.
  • Be specific. "We delivered 1,200 orders in Ramadan with a team of four" beats "busy season for us!".
  • End with a question. It invites the comments that help a post reach more people.
  • Few hashtags. Two or three relevant ones are plenty on LinkedIn.

For a PDF document, make each page one idea with a large headline, and put the most useful page first: readers decide on page one whether to swipe. Give the document a clear title, because it is shown in the feed. If you need help with the first draft, Write with AI writes in the voice set in your brand kit, and you edit it before scheduling.

Mistakes to avoid

  • Copying the Instagram caption. LinkedIn readers want context and a point of view, not a string of hashtags.
  • Posting page and profile at the same moment. Space them out so the founder's post is not competing with the page.
  • Links in every post. Put the link in the first comment when the post itself should do the talking.
  • Nobody watching the comments. The first hour of replies helps a post reach more people. Plan who answers.
