Create and schedule a social media post

Write once, adjust per network, add photos or video, and post now or later.

In Karobar you write a post once and send it to any mix of Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube and Google Business accounts, with a different caption or format for each where you need it. This page walks through the composer from start to finish.

1. Start a new post

  1. Open Social Content from the main menu.
  2. Click New post. The composer opens in its own tab.

It saves as you work, so you can leave and pick the post up later from Drafts.

2. Choose where it goes

Under Post to, tick the accounts. Accounts you often post to together can be saved as a group and picked in one tap. If an account needs reconnecting, Karobar says so here; reconnect it in Settings → Channels.

3. Write the caption

  • One caption or several. The caption goes Everywhere by default. Switch a network to Own version to write it differently there.
  • Help while you write. Add emoji, a saved caption or a hashtag set, and a link. Write with AI drafts a caption from a photo or a few words, and Improve with AI polishes yours; both use your brand kit.
  • Links that count clicks. Shorten links with your Bitly account, or add tracking tags (UTM) so your website reports show which post sent the visit.
  • Limits checked for you. Karobar warns you when a caption is too long for a network, or when an Instagram caption has more than 30 hashtags or 20 @mentions.

4. Add photos, videos or a PDF

Add files from this device, from your Library, or straight from your product photos. Drag them into order; the first one is the cover. Videos can be up to 2 GB, and a big upload carries on if the connection drops.

Click Edit on a file to crop, trim or add alt text, or AI Enhance on a product photo to clean it up with AI.

5. Choose the format for each account

For each account, pick what to Post as: for example a Reel, Story or Carousel on Instagram, a Short on YouTube, or a Document on LinkedIn. Platform settings holds the extras for each network, such as trial reels or TikTok labels; they are listed in Post settings for each network.

Karobar checks the post against each network's rules and marks each account Ready or shows what to fix. If a file does not fit a format, Fix makes a version that does.

6. Choose when

  • Now: posts as soon as you press Post now.
  • Specific time: pick a date and time. Add more times to send the same post several times.
  • Post & repeat: a first post, then repeats every day, every week, on a weekday or on dates you choose.
  • Draft: keep it for later; nothing goes out.

Space out accounts puts a few minutes between each account instead of posting everywhere at once. Times are shown in your time zone.

7. Add automations (Facebook and Instagram)

In Automations, choose what happens when people comment on this post: send them a DM with your link, reply in public under their comment, or both, for every comment or only for words you choose, such as PRICE. On Instagram you can also answer replies to your Story with a DM. These start when the post goes out. Ideas for what to send are in Instagram comment to DM.

8. Post, schedule or send for approval

Press Post now or Schedule. If your account needs approval, the button says Send for approval instead; see Set up social media post approvals. You can follow the post in the calendar.
