# Connect your YouTube channel

Connect a channel to publish videos and Shorts, answer comments and see channel numbers.

Connect your YouTube channel to schedule videos and Shorts from Social Content, answer video comments in the Comments inbox, and see your channel numbers in Business Insights.

## Connect your channel

1. In Karobar, open **Settings → Channels** and choose **YouTube**.
2. Tick what you want to use: **YouTube Channels** (publishing videos from Social Content), **Comments & videos** (video comments in the inbox) and **Business Insights** (channel numbers). You need at least one.
3. Click **Connect** and sign in with the Google account that owns or manages the channel.
4. Choose the channel and allow the permissions, including access to your channel's analytics.
5. The channel appears under your connected channels, and its videos and comments start to sync.

Numbers missing?

If you connected the channel before analytics access was added, reconnect it once so Business Insights can show your channel numbers.

## What you can do once connected

- **Publish:** schedule videos and Shorts from the Social Content calendar, next to your posts for the other networks.
- **Comments:** your channel's videos sync, and their comments arrive in the Comments tab of the inbox. Karobar AI flags unhappy comments and spam and drafts public replies for you to check and post.
- **Insights:** subscribers, views and video results in Business Insights, with views by country.

## If something goes wrong

- **"No YouTube channels found":** the Google account you signed in with has no channel. Connect again and choose the account that owns or manages it.
- **Several channels:** choose each one when you connect. How many you can add depends on your plan.

No. YouTube has no direct messages. Video comments come into the Comments inbox.
